On Tuesday evening, it was mentioned by Sports Illustrated’s Ross Dellenger that LSU football defensive coordinator Dave Aranda could be name to watch for Hawaii’s vacant head coaching job.
Aranda spent four seasons at Hawaii, so it’s a natural fit.
But it’s also not a Power-5 school, so it’s possible Aranda could hold out for a better gig.
Unfortunately for LSU, there’s a Power-5 program that might be interested in Aranda.
According to ESPN’s Adam Rittenberger, Aranda’s name has been mentioned in connection to the Baylor head coaching job left vacant by Matt Rhule.
