Under the goal posts in Tulane Stadium after LSU's 21-0 loss to Ole Miss in the 1960 Sugar Bowl, Tigers' running back Billy Cannon re-enacted for publicity his signing with the AFL's Houston Oilers. Cannon had already signed with the Oilers prior to the Sugar Bowl and prior to that had signed with the NFL's Los Angeles Rams.
