LSU football reached the top of the college football world in 2019 after going 15-0 and dominating in the playoff.
In 2020, the Tigers will be looking to prove that the program has staying power at the top. Plenty of analysts have expressed doubt this offseason that LSU can reach the playoff for a second straight season.
Even if the Tigers aren’t able to get back to the promised land this season, I feel confident that LSU has proved they’re going to be among college football’s elite for the foreseeable future.
The Tigers may not reach the playoff ever year under Ed Orgeron, but they’re going to be in the conversation almost every year.
