Fox Sports host Colin Cowherd spent a lot of time leading up to the 2020 NFL season disparaging former LSU football quarterback Joe Burrow.
“You do realize I’m going to win the Joe Burrow argument,” said Cowherd in May. “He’s going to get mauled this year. He is not going to look good.”
Burrow, of course, played quite well as a rookie in 2020, before injuring his ACL against the Washington Football Team.
If not for the injury, he likely would’ve been the offensive rookie of the year (Burrow was on pace for 4,300 passing yards before his injury, while playing for a bad Cincinnati Bengals team).
