Earlier this month, 2021 four-star quarterback Garrett Nussmeier committed to LSU football.
Nussmeier, 6-foot-2/182 lbs from Flower Mound, TX, is rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 8 pro-style quarterback in the nation.
The Tigers were also strongly pursuing five-star quarterback Caleb Williams, but it certainly appears they were more enamored with Nussmeier.
Maybe that’s because Nussmeier is already familiar with LSU passing game coordinator Scott Linehan (Nussmeier’s dad coached with Linehan in the NFL).
If the Tigers are all in on Nussmeier as their quarterback of the future, then they need to do what they can to land four-star wide receiver J.
