LSU football is hoping four-star quarterback Garrett Nussmeier will land in Baton Rouge and possibly take the reigns from Myles Brennan in a couple of years.
Nussmeier, 6-foot-2/182 lbs from Flower Mound, TX, is rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 30 player in the state of Texas and the No. 11 pro-style quarterback in the nation.
The dynamic quarterback told 247Sports this week that he plans to announce his commitment on April 18, after taking visits to LSU, North Carolina and Texas.
While Nussmeier is doing his due diligence and not rushing into a decision, it feels like his commitment to LSU is inevitable.
