After blowing a 10-point halftime lead, LSU, unsurprisingly, took a tumble in the latest AP Poll falling from No. 8 to No. 16 in this week’s rankings.
Personally I think that’s a harsh drop. I mean, A&M was the favorite coming into the game after all and the game was on the road at what’s now a top-10 opponent. For comparisons sake, Alabama dropped three spots when the Tide lost to an unranked Vanderbilt as a three-touchdown favorite. But I digress.
LSU’s loss is quite literally Texas A&M’s gain as the Aggies jumped into the top-10.
