LSU football is back.
Well, almost. Tigers head coach Ed Orgeron met with the media following the the first spring practice on Thursday, clearing the air on a number of issues.
On the injury front, the Tigers will go through spring practice without K’Lavon Chaisson or linebacker Jacob Phillips participating in contact drills.
As for the offense, the team continues to transition into more of a run-pass option scheme and Orgeron seems to like the progress it’s making.
“I really like the direction of our offense,” Orgeron said. “They spread the ball around, moved the ball to receivers, got the ball to our playmakers in spacing .
