LSU head coach Ed Orgeron knows what it takes to lure top prospects to his program.
What Orgeron is trying to figure out is how to make the most of the Tigers' current situation. The interim head coach has done a masterful job in keeping the 2017 LSU recruiting class largely in tact, with only one defection since Les Miles' departure coming by way of junior college wide receiver Stephen Guidry, who withdrew his verbal pledge shortly after Miles' firing.
The Tigers have a gargantuan SEC battle set for Alabama on November 5, which ordinarily would call for a vast range of recruiting visitors, including official visits, but not this go-around, according to sources.
