KEY PLAYS: Missed tackles early and some defensive flags along the way stung the Tigers' defense as they helped pave the way for a long Crimson Tide march. Alabama quarterback Jake Coker helped the cause with a nice connection with Calvin Ridley on a third-down slip screen that netted 14 yards Kenyan Drake slashed through the Tigers for 18 yards and a 15-yard gimme' came from LSU on a facemask to get Alabama into field-goal range.
