BATON ROUGE – The LSU Tigers defeated the Texas A&M Aggies by a score of 64-50 on Saturday afternoon at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. The Tigers improve to 20-9, 11-5 in conference play, on the season.
The back-court duo of Skylar Mays and Javonte Smart led the Tigers to a victory over the Aggies by combining for 38 points. Mays led the Tigers in points, scoring 24 to go along with a team high eight rebounds. Mays exploded in the second half as 19 of his points came after halftime including four makes from three.
