Columbia, S.C.– The LSU men's basketball team improves to 19-8 after defeating South Carolina, 86-80, Saturday night in Columbia, South Carolina.
LSU had a balanced scoring attack, as they have throughout the season. Darius Days, Skylar Mays, Trendon Watford, and Javonte Smart all had over 13 points. Days dropped an efficient 18 points, going 6-8 from the field and 4-6 from beyond the arc. Watford corralled his fifth double-double of the year with 15 points and 10 rebounds. LSU had 15 assists, six coming from the floor-general, Skylar Mays.
