LSU improved to an overall record of 12-6 when it topped South Alabama in Baton Rouge, 9-4 on Wednesday.
The Tigers have shown a tendency to get things started early in the first inning all season long, and this matchup proved to be no exception. Feduccia again showed himself to be an integral part of the team’s offense with a bases-loaded single that scored two runners. This made for the seventh game in a row the team has scored in the opening inning.
The next LSU run would not come until the fourth inning, when Hal Hughes scored Bryce Jordan.
