ORLANDO – The No. 22 LSU Tigers improved to 5-0 Thursday night, defeating the College of Charleston 67-55 at the AdvoCare Invitational in the HP Field House.
The Tigers put together a team effort on their way to victory. In his homecoming, freshman forward Emmitt Williams from Fort Myers led the Tigers with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Junior guard Skylar Mays was the only other Tiger to reach double-digits in the scoring department with 12. Sophomore guard Tremont Waters recorded 11 assists for just the second time in his career to go with his eight points.
