After an incredibly heartbreaking loss to the no. 1 ranked Oklahoma Sooners at home over the weekend, LSU may have needed a pick me up to revitalize the teams spirits in a bad way. Fortunately the Tigers got just that tonight against Auburn.
LSU went on the road and defeated Auburn 80-68 to get back into winning ways.
Freshman sensation, Ben Simmons, was his usual incredible self. The freshman had 21 points, 13 boards, and 7 assists on the night. Tonights game against Auburn was his sixteenth double-double of the season thus far. Simmons leads the SEC in double-doubles.
