When LSU hits to the road Wednesday the road to take on Auburn, the team could be doing so without leading scorer Antonio Blakeney.
An already tumultuous season could have taken a turn for the worse when Blakeney went down with an ankle injury in the final minutes of LSU's 81-66 loss to Alabama last Saturday at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
Blakeney, averaging a team-high 17.1 points per game, walked off the court under his own power but did not practice with the team on Monday afternoon and the team was practicing at Auburn late Tuesday.
