A bad week for LSU coach Les Miles got a lot worse Saturday.
Talk behind the scenes about Miles' future at LSU heated up last week and will likely get hotter after Saturday's 38-17 loss to Ole Miss, the team's third consecutive defeat.
LSU (7-3, 4-3 in SEC) fell behind Ole Miss 24-0 and despite cutting the lead to 24-17, lost by three touchdowns. It's the first time LSU has lost three consecutive games since 1999 when the team lost eight straight in Gerry DiNardo's final season.
After the game, Miles denied he felt he was in danger of losing his job and said the talk had nothing to do with the team's performance.
