LSU has cancelled Sunday's Media Day and Fan Day because of historic flooding in the Baton Rouge area and most of South Louisiana.
Fan Day will not be rescheduled, according to a media alert text from LSU
The LSU campus was closed Saturday as rain continued to inundate the state. Gov. John Bel Edwards declared a state of emergency as the National Weather Service projects 80-90 percent chance of rain through the day Saturday and 70 percent on Sunday.
More rain expected Saturday after heavy downpours pounded parts of the central U.S. Gulf Coast on Friday, forcing the rescue of dozens of people.
