LSU will have a chance to avenge one of their two midweek losses this season by facing the University of New Orleans at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Alex Box Stadium.
In LSU's 11-8 loss Feb. 21 at Ron Maestri Field, three LSU relievers surrendered 10 runs while recording only four outs as the Tigers surrendered a 6-1 lead.
This second meeting will give the Privateers a chance for a two-game season sweep.
"We don't want to blow it out of proportion," LSU senior Cole Freeman said about having another crack at UNO. "UNO is our next opponent.
