LSU used an all-hands-on-deck approach for Monday afternoon’s game against Southern, using 16 players and eight pitchers in a 10-2 victory.
Dylan Crews and Tre Morgan led the Tigers in hitting with a pair of 2-for-4 nights. Crews picked up two RBI with a double and a home run while Morgan picked up a double.
No Tiger pitcher threw more than 1.2 innings, logged by starter Will Hellmers and Michael Fowler. Hellmers allowed two hits and two walks, but didn’t give up a run while Howler allowed two runs on one hit and a walk.
LSU opened the game with a run after Morgan led off the game with a double, scoring on another double from Gavin Dugas.
