LSU basketball wrecks tournament hopes with loss to Arkansas (Highlights)

Less than two weeks ago, the LSU basketball team appeared to have moved itself off the NCAA Tournament bubble with a win over No. 15 Texas A&M. After a third consecutive loss on Tuesday night against the Arkansas Razorbacks, the Tigers’ postseason aspirations are all but shot.

In a must win-game, LSU was dominated to the tune of an 85-65 blowout defeat at the hands of the Razorbacks.

Freshman forward Ben Simmons compiled 23 points, 12 rebounds and six assists, while freshman guard Antonio Blakeney contributed 22 points and six boards. But due to a nonexistent performance from the Tigers’ bench, Arkansas was able to put the game away in the second half.
