Just like last season, the SEC showdown between the LSU Tigers and Arkansas Razorbacks came down to the final buzzer.
Once again, LSU escaped victorious.
Four Tigers scored in double-figures, two recorded double-doubles and, with the game on the line, luck fell in LSU’s favor.
With the clock winding down in the second half and the game tied at 74, Antonio Blakeney air-balled a 3-point attempt from well beyond the arc. Fortunately for the Tigers, the ball fell into the hands of sophomore forward Craig Victor II, who delivered a game-winning putback with 4.2 seconds remaining in regulation and just one second left on the shot clock.
