The LSU baseball team will open NCAA tournament regional play Friday (June 1) at Oregon State.
The Tigers, seeded No. 2 in the four-team regional field, will face No. 3 seed San Diego State. Also in the field are No. 1 seed Oregon State and No. 4 seed Northwestern State.
The double-elimination regional will be paired with the regional hosted by Minnesota. That four-team regional also has UCLA, Gonzaga and Canisius behind the top-seed Gophers.
