The LSU baseball team won the Baton Rouge Regional tournament on Sunday. As a result, the Tigers are headed to the NCAA Tournament Super Regionals.
The LSU baseball offense came alive on Sunday, powering the Tigers to a 13-7 win over Oregon State (41-20). LSU needed the win to clinch the Baton Rouge Regional title and avoid an elimination game on Monday. The Tigers (46-15) came through, handing the Beavers their second loss and sending them back to Corvallis empty-handed.
The next stop for LSU baseball is the program’s 16th trip to the NCAA Tournament Super Regionals.
