LSU baseball shuts out Sacramento State

The LSU baseball team was back at Alex Box Stadium on Friday night after a frustrating 12-11 loss on Wednesday at Lamar. The Tigers (4-1, 0-0 SEC) were able to put Wednesday behind them as they picked up a 6-0 win over Sacramento State (3-2, 0-0 WAC) in the opener of a three-game series.

LSU got on the board early, striking for a run in the first on a single by sophomore Beau Jordan before getting another in the second on a double by junior Kramer Robertson.

Robertson had his best game of the season, going 2-for-4 with a single, a double, two RBIs, a run scored and a walk.
