LSU didn't need to produce all the offense Tuesday to come away with a 13-0 victory against Louisiana College at Alex Box Stadium.
The Tigers (13-4) took advantage of many of the nine baserunners that reached on walks or hit-by-pitches, and a pair of errors contributed to the seven-run seventh for LSU.
That, combined with 10 hits, gave the Tigers more than enough for an easy victory against the NCAA Division III school from near Alexandria.
Greg Deichmann doubled home LSU's first run in the first, and the Tigers scored the next five runs with a combination of sacrifice flies by Jake Slaughter and Cole Freeman and four two-out singles that produced another three runs.
