LSU baseball plays a make-up game of sorts at 6:30 tonight against Louisiana College.
The Tigers (12-4) added the NCAA Division III school from near Alexandria to the schedule after a rainout of a game last week against San Diego. The added game keeps LSU at the 56-game maximum allowed for the regular season.
Right-handed pitcher Zack Hess will try to continue a string of 21 consecutive scoreless innings thrown by LSU starters when he takes the hill tonight. Hess has a 1-0 record with a 4.05 ERA over 13.1 innings. He has 15 strikeouts and eight walks.
