LSU defensive assistant coaches Dennis Johnson and Corey Raymond rank first and third in the 247 Sports recruiter ranking composite.
Johnson, who is in his first full season as the LSU outside linebackers coach, saw a surge this weekend when he landed threee commitments from the state of Georgia, giving him a total of five commitments in the 2018 class, with junior college commitment Travez Moore and edge rusher Jarell Cherry filling out his current haul. Johnson slipped by Miami assistant Ephraim Banda, who played a hand in landing four of Miami's top commitments this cycle, to gain the top spot in the rankings.
