The hiring of James Cregg to replace Jeff Grimes as the LSU offensive line coach has been made official.
The school announced the hiring of Cregg on Tuesday, nearly one week after Grimes said he planned to leave after the Jan. 1 Citrus Bowl against Notre Dame so he can be the BYU offensive coordinator.

"James is a great addition to our staff," coach Ed Orgeron said in a release. "I worked with coach Cregg at both Tennessee and Southern Cal so I know firsthand the type coach he is and how he serves as a mentor to his players.
