GUADALAJARA, Mexico – The No. 18 LSU women's golf team earned its fifth Top-3 finish of the season with a second-place finish at the IJGA Collegiate Invitational. The Tigers shot 6-under 858 as a team over 54 holes, the 11th-best team score in LSU history and the second-best team score this season.
Tiger rookie Ingrid Lindblad finished in second place with a 9-under 207 for the three rounds. It is her fourth Top-5 finish of the season.
Host Virginia shot 5-under on the last nine holes to pass LSU and win the tournament.
