After LSU shortstop Kramer Robertson announced he was returning for his senior season on Wednesday night, Tigers second baseman Cole Freeman followed suit on Twitter Thursday afternoon by announcing his intentions to return.

"A dream come true for me and my family when I was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers," Freeman wrote in a message posted to his page. "I can't thank them enough for the opportunity they gave me to live a childhood dream but I have decided to come back to LSU for my senior year. Looking forward to getting back to work with my teammates, playing in front of the best fans in college baseball and getting back on the road to Omaha!
