7-on-7 football has blown up in Louisiana, with a total of six teams being formed throughout the state.
The Louisiana Bootleggers started in 2010, and routinely field one of the nation's most competitive rosters. The 2017 season looks like much of the same, as Saturday's tryouts gave us a glimpse at some of the state's hidden gems.
There was an all-star cast of coaches on hand, led by head coach J.J. McCleskey, former NFL star safety Ryan Clark, and long-time NFL veteran safety Reggie Tongue, who spent the day teaching the stars of tomorrow. These were the standouts from Saturday.
