Governor John Bel Edwards criticized the “obscene” coaching salaries during an interview with The Advocate of Baton Rouge, La.
“This is an arms race, and it’s gotten out of control,” Edwards said. “Some of the salaries and buyouts are obscene, and they can create all sorts of problems.”
As LSU fans know well, the Tigers rank high on the list of highest-paying schools, especially for coordinators.
