Lindsey Scott provides LSU with much-needed stability at QB

National Signing Day kicks off in just over 24 hours, but the LSU Tigers may have already landed their most crucial commit for the final stretch of the 2016 recruiting period.

The Tigers landed a commitment from Louisiana high school star Lindsey Scott Jr. on Sunday, providing the program with stability at the quarterback position for the foreseeable future.

Scott was named the Class 5A MVP, Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year and Mr. Football for the state of Louisiana in 2015 after leading Zachary High School to its first ever State Championship.

The 5-foot-11, 205-pound signal-caller passed for 3,039 yards and 33 touchdowns during his senior season.
