Less than two months after the end of his almost-12-season tenure at LSU, Les Miles is taking a big step in the hunt for a new coaching job.
He has hired a new agent as he looks for his next career move, The Baton Rouge Advocate reported.
Miles hired former NFL defensive end Trace Armstrong as his agent. Armstrong represents several of the sport’s leading coaches, including Ohio State’s Urban Meyer, Notre Dame’s Brian Kelly, Penn State’s James Franklin and Houston’s Tom Herman.
“I’m fighting like heck trying to win a championship at another place,” Miles told the newspaper.
