Mark Stoops is heading into his fourth season as Kentucky’s coach and is 12-24 in his tenure. Is Stoops on the hot seat? UK athletic director Mitch Barnhart says no.
Barnhart told catspause.com that Stoops has nothing to worry about in that regard.
“There is no magic number – no ‘ifs,’ ‘ands’ or ‘buts,’ ” Barnhart said. “Mark has a really great heart for his kids and he’s trying really hard to find a way to get past the 4-1 and 5-1 starts and get to the finish line. We all want that and he wants it as bad as anybody.
