BATON ROUGE, La. – This must be what those who hunt the elusive legends of the world feel like on a regular basis.
Big Foot/Sasquatch.
The Loch Ness Monster.
Unicorns.
Leonard Fournette.
For the first time since LSU coach Les Miles surprisingly offered up that Fournette had been slowed by a sprained ankle, there was an actual sighting Thursday night.
Fournette, minus the walking boot he was seen in when he and several LSU players visited a shelter for victims of the rains and flooding in Baton Rouge, walked by a gathering of media as it waited for entrance to a facility where interviews are conducted.
