Baton Rouge, La. – LSU sprinter Terrance Laird picked up his second SEC weekly award of the outdoor season on Tuesday as he was named the SEC Men's Runner of the Week for his efforts at last weekend's Boots Garland Invitational.
Laird ran the fastest 100 meter time of his career with a wind legal 10.06 on Saturday to win the 100 meter race. It moved him into No. 3 on the NCAA list this season, and it marked the fourth fastest time in LSU history. He also anchored LSU's 4x100 meter relay team to its third win in a row as they clocked a time 38.
