The LSU women’s basketball team, losers of two straight, faces a tough task Thursday evening as the Lady Tigers welcome in the 12-0 Texas A&M Aggies, ranked seventh in the country.
Texas A&M has one of the strongest resumés this year, with wins over Kentucky and Arkansas. The Aggies are a legitimate challenger to South Carolina for supremacy in the SEC. A&M has four players scoring at least 10 points a game, led by Aaliyah Wilson’s 15 points N’dea Jones’s 13 points, Ciera Johnson’s 11 points and Alexis Morris’s 10.
“A&M has size and athleticism, and perimeter players that can play multiple layers,” Nikki Fargas said Wednesday afternoon.
