The LSU women’s basketball team (6-7, 4-3) is in the midst of an immensely challenging stretch, where seven of their nine opponents are currently ranked in the AP Top 25.
It started Sunday where the Tigers fought valiantly against No. 5 South Carolina but came up short inside the PMAC, losing 69-65. Next up for LSU, is a trip east to Athens where the Tigers take on the No. 22 Georgia Bulldogs (13-2, 5-2).
Georgia’s offense runs through Jenna Staiti. 14 points and 7 rebounds a game, and Gabby Connally, 11 points per game. The Dawgs are on a roll, winning six of their last seven games.
