Lady Tigers Back To .500 Record, Dismantled At No.1 UConn

A Breanna Stewart-less No.1 UConn Huskies easily topped the LSU women’s basketball team 86-40 in Hartford, CT on Monday. The 40 points scored by the Tigers marks a season-low, a poor performance from what was already one of the worst offenses in the conference and in the country. LSU went just 16-54, 29%, from the field with two starters failing to record a field goal. The Tigers combined for a paltry 14 points in the first half and just one Tiger, Rina Hill, hit double-digit points with ten. 86 points from UConn was also a season-high in points allowed for the Tigers.
