The Advocate’s Wilson Alexander has reported details about the death of former LSU wide receiver Kyren Lacy from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Lacy was involved with a verbal argument with a family member, and he discharged a gun into the ground, according to the sheriff’s office. When the Constable’s Office responded to the scene at approximately 11:15 p.m., they said they learned Lacy had driven away in his car.
When law enforcement tried to stop him 20 minutes later, Lacy fled. He was involved in a car chase for several miles and crashed, the Sheriff’s Office said.
