Sophomore wide receiver Koy Moore reportedly entered his name in the transfer portal Monday.
The news was first reported by Sam Spiegelman of Rivals.
Moore came to LSU as a composite four-star prospect out of Archbishop Rummel. As a freshman he played in all 10 of LSU’s games and caught 22 passes for 177 yards last season; but through the first six games of the 2021 season, Moore’s numbers have plummeted. Moore has only caught five passes, with the last coming against Central Michigan.
That’s owed in no small part to the emergence of LSU’s freshman wide receiver group, Jack Bech, Deion Smith, Brian Thomas Jr.
