It is hard to think that LSU’s offensive line struggled at times in 2016. The Tigers did, after all, finish the season averaging 233 rushing yards per game. Senior offensive tackle KJ Malone, however, believes that was the case.
“I think one of the reasons last year we struggled sometimes, is that we weren’t as physical,” Malone said Tuesday. “Now, seeing it on film and the leadership we have now— we’re just a dominant group. It’s going to carry over into next year.”
One way LSU’s offense could be helped in 2017 is through the arrival of new offensive coordinator Matt Canada.
