BATON ROUGE -- After holding Texas A&M more than 23 points below its season average, LSU football linebacker Deion Jones and defensive end Arden Key were named SEC Players of the Week on Monday.
Jones, a senior from New Orleans, led LSU with 11 tackles including a half sack and 1.5 tackles for loss. He was named the league's Defensive Player of the Week.
Key, a true freshman from Atlanta, had eight tackles including 1.5 sacks in the 19-7 victory over Texas A&M.
The Aggies managed only 250 yards of total offense including 89 rushing.
