AUBURN, Ala. -- LSU made 10-straight shots during a six-minute stretch of the second half to earn a 80-68 victory over Auburn on Tuesday night at Auburn Arena.
LSU (14-8, 7-2 SEC) bounced back from a two-point defeat at the hands of No. 1 Oklahoma on Saturday by shooting 57 percent from the field while holding Auburn (9-12, 3-6 SEC) to only 37 percent.
Ben Simmons had 17 of his game-high 21 points in the first half, and completed his league-leading 16th double double with 13 rebounds. The 6-10 point forward also dished seven assists, only taking three shots in the second half.
