TOKYO - LSU divers Montserrat Gutierrez Lavenant and Anne Tuxen finished off a huge day on the boards for their native countries on Women's Platform as both women qualified for the Platform semi-final that will take place on Wednesday. Along with advancing to the semi-finals, both of their performances secured an Olympic quota spot for their countries.
Gutierrez Lavenant, diving for her native country Mexico, finished in seventh place in the prelim with a score of 298.10. Her performance secures a spot for Mexico at the 2021 Olympic Games. Anne Tuxen, diving for Norway, finished in 18th place in the prelim with a score of 257.
