Baton Rouge, LA. – Three LSU track and field athletes were honored this afternoon with a SEC Athlete of the Week award. Rayvon Grey was named the SEC Men's Field Athlete of the Week, Tonea Marshall was awarded the SEC Women's Runner of the Week, and Thelma Davies was tabbed as the Co-Women's Freshman of the Week.
Senior Rayvon Grey improved upon his NCAA leading distance in the men's long jump at the Razorback Invitational with a leap of 26' 6.5" (8.09m). Grey's mark ranks as the second longest jump in the world this season as well as the fifth best in school history.
