Greg Deichmann has made it to the show.
The former Tiger outfielder made his Major League debut Friday afternoon in Chicago. Deichmann, now with the Cubs, batted fifth and started in right field for the Cubbies. He even got his first career hit in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Deichmann was dealt from Oakland to Chicago in a trade between the Cubs and A’s last month. He was drafted in the second round by the A’s in 2017 and has had a strong 2021 season in both Oakland’s and Chicago’s Triple AAA affiliates.
