Oh right there’s still a bowl game to be played.
Bowls don’t really mean as much these days. If you’re not in the College Football Playoff your bowl game is a glorified scrimmage and the roster LSU’s fielding is gonna look a hell of a lot different than it did in week one.
Will Campbell won’t be playing today. Neither will Emery Jones, Kyren Lacy, or Mason Taylor. Baylor, led by former LSU defensive coordinator Dave Aranda, doesn’t have nearly as many defectors. The Bears have only lost two players to the transfer portal and as far as I can tell, none of their players are opting out in order to prepare for the upcoming NFL Draft.
